FORTH/ICE-HT mourns the sudden loss of Pavlos Klepetsanis, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Patras and Associate Faculty Member of FORTH/ICE-HT. Pavlos had a close relationship with the Institute from the beginning of his scientific career as a postgraduate fellow during his PhD thesis which he completed in 1991 and then as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute between 1993-1996. From 1997 to date he has been an uninterrupted Associate Faculty Member of the Institute contributing in turn to the progress of the field. He has been actively involved in our operations as a member of various Working Groups and Committees with special reference to issues related to laboratory safety. Everyone has a good word to say about his quality as a scientist and a man and his exceptional character. He was always there to help whenever there was a need.
