The conference of Technical Chamber of Greece on the “Participation of Greek Engineers in the European Research and Technology Area” took place on Wednesday, March 5, 2003, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the facilities of Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Academias Str. 7, Athens. The General Secretary of Research and Technology, Dr. Dimitrios Deniozos had been invited to preach the opening. Representatives of Research Organizations and Industrial Partners participated and discussed.

FORTH/ICE-HT was represented by Dr. S. Sotirchos, Research Director, who gave a talk on the “Development of nanotechnology and nanomaterials: a new perspective for the industry” and Prof. A. C. Payatakes, Director.
