The coordinator of the NBG Business Seeds programme of the National Bank of Greece, Mr. S. Arsenis, visited the Institute on 14.03.2019, accompanied by local executive staff. The purpose of the visit was to present the programme of the support of innovation-based enterpreneurship, entitled “Match and Develop a Startup”. The presentation was attended by researchers, collaborating faculty members, postdocs and graduate students of the Institute. A discussion with different research groups followed, with emphasis on the funding opportunities and perspectives for those research results that are sufficiently mature to enter the innovation phase.

Mr. Arsenis’ visit was combined with the 3-day Bootcamp “Match and Develop a Startup”, that was organized by the National Bank of Greece at the Chamber of Achaia on March 15-17, 2019, in the framework of PatrasIQ.
