Both Mr. loannis Anastasopoulos, Ph.D. student of FORTH/ICE-HT, and Mr. Dimitrios Zagklis, Ph.D. student of FORTH/ICE-HT, were awarded by The European Membrane Society (EMS) and the University Duisburg-Essen for their outstanding poster presentations, entitled:

“Novel Membranes for Water Technologies: Formation of Aligned Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) with Tailored Physical and Chemical Properties”
by J. A. Anastasopoulos, A. Soto Beobide, Th. Karachalios and G. A. Voyiatzis
(see the Prize)

and

“Implementation of Membrane Technology for the Isolation of the Olive Mill Wastewater Phenolic Content”
by D. P. Zagklis and C. A. Paraskeva
(see the Prize)

during the 29^th EMS Summer School on Membranes held in Essen, Germany in July 2013.
