An open event to present the MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2020 was organized at the Conference Auditorium of FORTH/ICE-HT on Dec. 4, 2019. The aim of the event was to inform researchers and startups about the competition and the support that can be offered for the dynamic development of companies and entrepreneurial teams in various fields of science and technology. The first winner of the previous competition, Mr. Christos Tsikoudas, Co-Founder & CEO of Twiddle, spoke of his personal experience and the important role of the competition in their development. Next, the Chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) Greece, Mr. Vassilis Papakonstantinou, presented the 2020 competition and the procedures that will be followed for selecting and funding a startup company. Presentations by Hellenic Petroleum and Athens Maritime Innovation Center followed. The event was organized by Dr. Maria Klapa, Principal Researcher at FORTH/ICE-HT, and Founding Member of MITEF Greece.
