Representation of FORTH/ICE-HT at the 2nd International Oil Conference: “Greece: Oil and Gas Reserves can be a key driver of country’s growth”, Athens
The 2nd International Oil Conference on “Greece: Oil and Gas Reserves can be a key driver of country’s growth” was organized by the Panhellenic Union of Greek Petroleum Workers (PSEEP) and the European Energy and Energy Technology (EE), June 8-10, 2017, in Athens, Greece, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Greek and international oil and gas industry, representatives of the State and parliament parties, heads of Greek and International Bodies, and representatives of academic and research institutions from Greece and abroad. FORTH / ICE-HT was represented by Dr. Christos Tsakiroglou, Research Director at the Institute, who presented relevant research activities of ICE-HT in his speech entitled “Scientific Research in Reservoir Engineering and its contribution to the exploitation of Hydrocarbon Deposits: Problems and Challenges” and participated in the round tables discussions “From the old to the new generation of oil geoscientists” and “Suggestions for mechanisms to improve the upstream oil industry to accelerate ‘best practice’ applications “.
