FORTH was ranked in the 12^th position in the list of the 20 European research organizations with the highest numbers of participations in FP7 signed grant agreements during the period 2007-2010 according to the “FP7 Monitoring Report 2010, European Commission” (page 17). In her congratulatory letter to Professor Fotakis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FORTH, the Minister of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs, Mrs. Diamantopoulou highlights “… This success demonstrates the successful model that characterizes FORTH for the optimal utilization of research infrastructure and human resources available …”.
