On Thursday, January 23^rd, 2025 at 12pm, a fire safety training seminar was held by Patras Fire Department for the staff of the institute.  The event took place at the seminar room of the Conference Centre of ICE-HT. Mr. Dimitrios Orfanos, Lieutenant Fire Colonel of the Fire Department of Achaia, informed the members of the institute about measures and means of dealing with fires, as well as the actions that should take place during a firefighting operation, while Mr. Theodoros Masouras of the 6^th Special Disaster Response Unit described measures and means for protection against earthquakes.  This was followed by a practical outdoor demonstration of fire-fighting equipment and their use by the staff.
