In the frame of Project CLEPSYDRA (with project ID: Euro-MED020062) of the “Interreg Euro-MED 2021-2027” Program, FORTH/ICE-HT is organizing an open conference on groundwater on Thursday, 18 December 2025, 11:00 AM
at FORTH/ICE-HT Seminar Room.

CLEPSYDRA Project, a European research and technological development project involving partners from six countries, will be presented. It aims at Groundwater monitoring and Decision Support System development to optimise decision making in sensitive and water-scarce agricultural environments in the Mediterranean context.

A study on groundwater purification from nitrates, an integrated approach for smart systems for monitoring environmental parameters, and alternative ways of irrigating agricultural crops and greenery will also be presented.
