“High SCHOOLS OPEN Door” PROGRAM 2024-2025
The Open Doors program for the 2024–2025 school year was successfully completed. This year, the Institute welcomed students from 14 secondary schools (10 Lyceums and 3 Gymnasiums), physics students from the University of Patras, and, for the first time, students from abroad through the Erasmus program. Participation increased by 48% compared to last year.
FORTH/ICE-HT also took part in the 2nd Student Scientific Conference organized by Rio Lyceum on May 4th, with a presentation on energy, involving 24 schools from Western Greece.
The Open Doors program is held annually for secondary school students in Western Greece, aiming to showcase cutting-edge research conducted at FORTH/ICE-HT and provide guided tours to help students explore future academic and career paths.
