Technology and management of high-speed networks: network management for advanced applications in wired and wireless high-speed networks; performance management of TCP/IP networks. Network management tools and platforms for congestion control, traffic monitoring and filtering.

Advanced network services: investigation of the requirements of multimedia applications, distance learning applications, advanced real-time, interactive services, distributed directory services, security and integrity.
