FORTH/ICE-HT Service Research Facilities offer a broad variety of instruments that operate under the supervision of expert scientists. Except for the research projects of FORTH/ICE-HT all these instruments are available for the supply of services to industrial and academic organizations. Graduate students who conduct their M.Sc or Ph.D. Thesis in FORTH/ICE-HT have the unique opportunity to train and use these analytical instruments to solve their scientific problems.

Sample Properties

Films, pellets, chunks, fibers, powders, coating, semi-solids, liquids, etc. Theoretical limit of the sample size is about 10 microns. Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) is capable of providing depth-profiling analysis in the range of 0.1 to 3 microns.
