Design and construction of 0.5 – 3 kW high temperature PEM fuel cell stacks


Application in energy-heat co-generation units (CHP), auxiliary power units (APU), battery chargers with LPG, stationary back up power systems, energy production in off-grid regions etc. Advantages include:

  • Increase in efficiency, operation at ~200οC
  • Reduction (50%) in production cost, 40% lower critical raw material usage and extended lifetime
  • Efficient cooling (liquid or air cooled) with temperature gradient below 10 degC
  • Operation over a wide range of reformates resulting in system simplifications
  • Remarkable stability for over 250 on-off cycles operating with reformates
