Achieved the demonstration of the novel in-situ cold plasma remediation of polluted sites handling the contaminated medium as a part of the electrical discharge and leading to a direct generation of micro discharges within contaminated medium with an estimated cost of ~0.4–1.2 €/tone of polluted soil.
