The 28^th EUCHEM Conference on Molten Salts and Ionic Liquids took place at the premises of the ICEHT Conference Center in Patras, on June 5-10, 2022 and was attended by more than 130 participants. The conference was organized by researchers of FORTH/ICE-HT, chairing by Dr. Vasileios Dracopoulos.

This conference is organized every second year in a different country of Europe, which started in 1966 in Norway. Euchemsil22 covered fundamental aspects, applied research and industrial applications of ionic media over a broad temperature range and enhanced the interaction between both molten salt and ionic liquid research communities.  The conference included invited presentations by high-impact speakers from the international academic community, oral and poster presentations and was attended by more than 130 participants from all over the world.
