The Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (FORTH/ICE-HT), in collaboration with the Hellenic Society for Archaeometry and the Ceramics Research Group of the Department of Geology at the University of Patras, is organizing the 9th Symposium of the Hellenic Society for Archaeometry. The event will take place at the ICE-HT Conference Center, from November 5 to 8, 2025.
The Symposium, titled: “Decoding the past: Narratives from the perspective of Archaeometry with a focus on the Cultural Heritage of Greece, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean”, aims to highlight the results of current research. It also seeks to provide an opportunity for the evaluation of methodologies, practices, and experiences, as well as for the resolution of long-standing problems and the exploration of future prospects and trends in the field.
