The Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (FORTH/ICE-HT), in collaboration with the Hellenic Society for Archaeometry and the Ceramics Research Group of the Department of Geology at the University of Patras, is organizing the 9^th Symposium of the Hellenic Society for Archaeometry. The event will take place at the ICE-HT Conference Center, from November 5 to 8, 2025.

The Symposium, titled: “Decoding the past: Narratives from the perspective of Archaeometry with a focus on the Cultural Heritage of Greece, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean”, aims to highlight the results of current research. It also seeks to provide an opportunity for the evaluation of methodologies, practices, and experiences, as well as for the resolution of long-standing problems and the exploration of future prospects and trends in the field.

The 15^th Hellenic Polymer Society International Conference is scheduled to take place in Patras on December 3-6, 2025.  The conference is organized biennially under the auspices of the Hellenic Polymer Society (HPS), the European Polymer Federation (EPF) and the local academic research institutions where HPS members operate, who undertake the organization as the local organizing committee. The organization of the conference has been assigned by the HPS to Georgios Bokias (Department of Chemistry, University of Patras), Georgios Psarras (Department of Materials Science, University of Patras) and Georgios Voyiatzis (FORTH/ICE-HT).

The conference is international, is conducted in English, and attracts scientists from abroad, mainly Europe. The conference covers all the latest developments in polymer science, bringing together academics, researchers, and industry specialists. The event encourages collaboration between fundamental research and industrial applications, promoting technological progress in the field.
