Research Activities:

Physics and Chemistry of solid surfaces, interaction of gases, metals and organic compounds with metallic and semiconducting surfaces.
Preparation and characterization of thin films (oligomers, metals or oxides) with controlled thickness and dispersion on oxide or metal substrates for the study of their chemical activity (application in heterogeneous catalysis), or on semiconducting substrates such as Si, SiC, Ge for the study of their electronic, optical and structural properties (application in optoelectronics).
Electronic structure investigations of photo-functional materials.
Preparation, characterization and testing of realistic model catalysts. Kinetics and mechanism of elementary reactions of gases on single metallic surfaces.

 

Participation in Research Projects:

Participated and co-ordinated several European and national projects (JTI, ENERGY, PENED, EPET, MARIE CURIE).

 

Publications:

53 refereed journal papers, 28 publications in conference proceedings.
