Analytical and numerical methods for solving Direct and Inverse Wave Scattering and Radiation Problems in Acoustics, Electromagnetism, Elasticity , Thermoelasticity and Elasticity with microstructural effects. Study of Wave Propagation Phenomena in Composite and Non-homogeneous Materials, Homogenization Techniques, Non-destructive Methods (Acoustic Emission, Ultrasonics, Acousto-ultrasonics), Mechanical Vibrations, Vibration Isolation. Numerical Analysis with Boundary Elements (Frequency and Time Domain, Two and Three Dimensions, Fluid Structure Interaction, Modal Analysis, Axisymmetric Structures), Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Method, Meshless Boundary Integral Equation Method and Hybrid Numerical Methods.

 

Participation in Research Projects:

1990-2009: Participation in SCIENCE, EPET-II, BRITE, PENED and YPER, PRAXE, IST and Bilaterar programmes.

 

Publications:
