Research Activities:

Mechanical characterisation of polymers and composites. Smart materials. Stress/ strain measurements in fibres and composites using spectroscopic methods. Interfacial measurements, micromechanics of reinforcement in composites. Carbon nanotubes and nanocomposites. Morphological and structural characterisation of polymers. Modelling structure/ property behaviour in semi-crystalline polymers.
