A workshop on the ERC scope and funding opportunities ws organized at FORTH/ICE-HT on Oct. 31, 2019. The event aimed at the updating of the local research and academic community on the ERC actions and the further encouragement of researchers to engage themselves in the process of applying for ERC grants. The event was combined with the visit of the Institute by Dr. Nikos Sifakis, Scientific Officer, European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA). Dr. Sifakis was informed on the progress of ERC Project PyroTRACH that is implemented at FORTH/ICE-HT by Prof. Athanassios Nenes and his team.
