This year keynote speaker of the “Alkiviades Ch. Payatakes” Distinguished Lecture series was Professor Kikuo Okuyama, Department of Chemical Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan. The event took place on 11 December 2017 at the new amphitheater of the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT). Prof. Okuyama presented a lecture entitled «Aerosol Science and Technology for Industrial Applications-Aerosol Filtration and New Material Synthesis».

These Distinguished Lectures are organised by FORTH/ICE-HT every year to honor the memory of Professor Alkiviades Ch. Payatakes, Chairman of FORTH (2006-2009) and Director of FORTH/ICE-HT (1999-2006).
