Nanoscience and Nanotechnology: Synthesis of inorganic and hybrid nanostructured materials, along with their characterization using light scattering, absorbance, photoluminescence, and microscopy techniques. This research aims to elucidate nanostructure growth mechanisms and precisely control their physicochemical and optical properties.
  2. Computational Chemistry: Theoretical modeling of structural properties, vibrational dynamics, and molecular interactions using ab initio, DFT, and semi-empirical molecular orbital methods.
  3. Raman Spectroscopy: Investigation of the structural properties and phase transitions of materials in solid (crystalline, glassy) and liquid states.
  4. Rare-Earth Spectroscopy: Analysis of f-f hypersensitive transitions in rare-earth element complexes and materials.
