Specifically, members of the FORTH\/ICE-HT Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Laboratory headed by Research Director Dr. G. Voyiatzis presented the activities of the collaborative national project &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/thorax.iceht.forth.gr\/index.php\/el\/\">Thorax-D (Industrial development of lightweight body shields for military and civil-commercial applications<\/a>)&#8221;,\u00a0 which aims at the development of soft and hard lightweight textiles for military and civil protection applications.<\/p>\n<p
