Burganos presented\u00a0 briefly the research activities of the Institute in the areas of nanotechnology, advanced materials, energy, environment, life sciences and biotechnology. At the same time, she announced that the policy of EU will aim to allocate additional resources to strengthen research and innovation for the next programming period , too.
