The Workshop was organized jointly by the University of Patras and FORTH\/ICE-HT (Prof. S. Antimisiaris and P. Klepetsanis, collaborating faculty members of the Institute) as part of the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> NANOMED Summer School that took place during July 1-12 at the University of Patras.
