To this end, skeletal organoids will be used as building blocks. Furthermore, the project will standardize the entire process, involving automated robotic, bioprinting and bioreactor technologies, enabling its systematic translation to clinical practice. JointPromise brings together six academic and industrial partners that are active in the fields of Tissue Engineering &amp; Regenerative Medicine. More specifically, apart from FORTH\/ICE-HT, the project consortium comprises KU Leuven (Belgium) &#8211; Coordinator, Fraunhofer Institute (Germany), Maastricht University (Netherlands) and the companies Poietis (France) and StemCellTechnologies (UK).<\/p>\n<p>Principal Investigator for FORTH\/ICE-HT is Dr. M. Klapa. The teams of Dr. I. Papantoniou (project co-ordinator), Dr. V. Burganos, and Prof. N. Moschonas are also participating in the project.
