Lively<\/a><\/strong>, Thomas C. DeLoach Jr. Endowed Professor, School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA &amp; Director of Center for Understanding and Control of Acid Gas-Induced Evolution of Materials for Energy (UNCAGE-ME), an Energy Frontier Research Center of the US Department of Energy. Prof. Lively received his award by Dr. Theophilos Ioannides, Director of FORTH\/ICE-HT, on Wednesday, 29 May 2024 in a special ceremony during the <i>14<sup>th<\/sup> Panhellenic Chemical Engineering Conference<\/i> and presented the award lecture titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iceht.forth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/SotirchosAward\/SVS2024_Abstract.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Membrane technologies are key enablers of the energy transition\u201d<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>FORTH\/ICE-HT\u00a0created the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iceht.forth.gr\/en\/stratis-sotirchos-lectureship-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stratis V. Sotirchos Award<\/a>\u201d to honor the memory of one of its most distinguished Researchers, Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iceht.forth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/SotirchosCV.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stratis V. Sotirchos<\/a>, FORTH\/ICE-HT Research Director.
