The 14^{th<\/sup> annual Conference of the Hellenic Society of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics \u2013 \u0397SCBB (HSCBB19), took place on December 8-10 2019 at the FORTH\/ICE-HT Conference Center, in Patras. The Conference was co-organized by HSCBB and FORTH\/ICEHT with Dr. Maria Klapa as Chair and Prof. N. Moschonas, collaborating faculty member, as member of the organizing committee representing the Institute.<\/p>\n}

The conference included invited presentations by researchers in Greece and abroad, oral and poster presentations of the activities of Greek research laboratories in bioinformatics, computational biology and mathematical modeling of biological systems in a variety of applications, providing the framework for fruitful discussions in search of synergies and collaborations. Additionally, a panel discussion was held about the Postgraduate Bioinformatics Programs in Greece and the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure, ELIXIR-GR, was presented.
