Particle Size Analyzer and Particle Counters

Particle size analysis or particle counting is based on the laser light scattering technique, which relies on the fact that the diffraction angle depends inversely proportional to particle size. The particles are suspended in a suitable medium within a measurement cell through which a laser beam is focused. The diffraction pattern produced by the particles is measured and the size of the particles is then calculated.
